On Thursday, September 17th, we’ll be taking nonviolent action to challenge fossil fuel trains in Missoula. This peaceful action will include a nonviolent civil disobedience element, as well as a rally at the Madison-Greenough railroad crossing in support of those who will be risking arrest. Whether you’re ready to risk arrest yourself or want to support others doing so, please fill out the form below to let us know you can come.
One important note: the exact timing of this action depends on having a fossil fuel train coming through town. Coal train schedules are unpredictable, so we’ll be sending out a phone text message sometime on the 17th, approximately one half-hour before it’s time to converge for the action. Participating in the action therefore requires a certain amount of flexibility — it’s just the nature of the event. However, if you would prefer to receive a phone call instead of a text message, let us know and we can accommodate that.
